Wenhong Xie is CBI’s China Programme Manager and is based in Beijing. He is responsible for leading the management and development of CBI’s projects and business in mainland China. In addition to managing research projects and liaising with government agencies, multilateral organizations, verifiers, underwriters and institutional investors, Wenhong also provides advice on green bond issuance and certification to support potential green bond issuers such as banks, state-owned enterprises, municipalities, and large corporates.

Prior to joining CBI, he worked as an economist at Tsinghua’s Center for Finance and Development (led by Dr. Ma Jun) and a consultant for the International Finance Corporation, in addition to a number of think tanks and NGOs in environment and international development. Wenhong has a M.A. in International Policy Studies from Stanford University.

Mr. Cui has more than 8 years working experience in real estate industry, and he serves as the Managing Director of Modern Land (China)’s Hong Kong Board Office. His work focuses on overseas cooperate finance, capital market operation and project investment. He led his team successfully launched several green bonds in HK, which were all highly praised by market investors. Years of market practices makes Mr. Cui forming the unique perspectives on property industry as well as corporate finance. He owns the Master’s Degree of Finance from Hong Kong University.

Mr. Chen has more than 10 years of experience as a green and sustainable real estate consultant, he is the only nationally certified expert who holds LEED AP, BREEAM AP, BREEAM Assessor, WELL AP, EDGE Expert, SITES AP, AH AP, Parksmart Advisor and RESET AP. He is responsible for nearly 100 certification projects, he is also a well-known training expert in China, trained nearly 1,000 students internationally.

Stanley leads ESG origination and impact at Aviva Investors Real Assets (£49bn). His ESG expertise spans across the private markets including real estate, infrastructure, private debt and private equity. Stanley has deep experience structuring sustainable impact and nature-based investment strategies. He is also a member of the Investment Committee and Chair of the ESG Origination Forum.



Stanley has over 10 years’ experience in environmental finance. He previously worked in the UK Government and Parliament, advising green financing projects across various sectors. He has also supported sustainable development programmes for the United Nations and Hong Kong Legislative Council. Stanley holds a BSc from the LSE and Masters in Sustainability from Cambridge University.

Xinying Tok has over 12 years' experience working in banking, consulting and sustainability. As GRESB’s Asia Representative, she helps to build and develop GRESB's relationships with the real asset sector in Greater China, assisting both investors and asset managers to understand and improve their ESG performance. She had previously worked at DBS Bank in roles ranging from risk management, equity research and structured finance, as well as in the philanthropic sector developing strategies to mitigate climate change in China and the US.
